Client Details: Southwest Charter School is a forward-thinking, environmentally-conscious elementary school in Portland, Oregon. Classroom size is tiny and the staff there rocks. Teacher Mike Martin came to us with the hope of connecting parents to his student newsletters in an easy, online way. This kid-painted site was born.
Project Goals:
- Web design that elementary-age kids love and parents enjoy.
- Newsletter publishing using a fluid, low-tech editing software.

- Involved the children by creating graphics from their art, getting them super excited about the site.
- Designed with rich, deep color and a feeling of water (they often field-trip to the ocean).
